Chef Cheryl Wixson will lead this hands-on cooking program featuring local, seasonal, and
organic Maine products.  Students work in teams, each team preparing two recipes from
the following menu.  Methods to incorporate more local products into menus, procurement
information, and recipes are included in everyone's materials.  As participants enjoy their
lunch, Amanda Beal, MOFGA president and co-organizer of Maine Harvest Lunch will
offer suggestions and strategies for your school's successful harvest lunch.  Press is
invited during class and for lunch.  
Class fee: $200 per school system or $75 per person.
